Amanda and Dave were excellent hosts. We were in the Zebra room and the decor was simply amazing. Every single item was colored or related with Zebras. Very comfortable queen bed and the best of the stay: the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G breakfast. Superb. It's a great value for money.
It would be helpful some indications to get the guest house, especially if you are late.

What a wonderful welcome we received from the hosts (Dave & Amanda). Clean, spacious rooms in a particalur theme (we stayed in the leopard room). Also the homecooked breakfast is fantastic! Location (Swellendam) is a quiet, safe town near the Robertson wine valley which is a much better (read: a lot less touristic) alternative to Stellenbosch. All in all you will not find anything better - Great value for money!!

A bit away from the city centre, but nice view from the hill and a small, but nice garden with it. Also a terrace to sit on. We stayed in the chalet and it is spacious and nicely decorated. It has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a large bathroom. Nice place to stay and the owners a very kind and helpful. They advised us where to eat and even made the booking for us. There was a basket with fruits and a bottle of wine on arrival!
Outside the city centre, but not very far though.

Impangele is a spotless, very comfortable guest house furnished with love and an impressive attention to details (each room has been furnished to fit with an animal theme e.g. the leopard room has leopard prints etc. throughout). The breakfast was incredible: very generous and delicious. In fact it was like two breakfasts in one: a full English breakfast plus a "help yourself" selection of cheese, breads, and a large selection of absolutely delicious jams which are made in a farm nearby. But the best thing about the place was the owners: they were friendly, welcoming, and so interesting to talk to. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly if you are passing through Swellendam!
